I have traveled to more than 20 countries, and each time I travel, it is important to me to not just be a tourist taking in all of the beauty of the native land but to also be with the people and give to the community. In Nairobi, Kenya, I worked with my travel agency Luxe Tribes on finding a service project which led to my family and friends being blessed by the boys and leaders of the Voice of Hope Network. Here is their story.
- Shannan E. Johnson, July 2022

It is estimated that in the near future, the homeless population will rise by over 200,000 people. Of the 2 million Kenyans without proper shelter, over 50% comprise of children. Most of these children spend their lives on the streets, struggling to make ends meet.
